The LULAC song is pertaining to when the organization was first founded. And how hispanics were oppressed at that time in 1929. The civil rights movement changed on the political spectram where we are today. Our fore fathers intended to establish our democracy, education, housing and imigration etc. In which minorities would have the same equal rights. This song is based on the history of LULAC.
